Have you been told you might need a transplant?

If you or someone you love is in need of an organ transplant, we understand that this can be a stressful and confusing time. While there is no way of knowing what the future holds, we are here to give you hope.

Our world-renowned transplant program provides comprehensive treatment for diseases that affect the liver, intestine, kidney, pancreas, heart and lung. We also offer care for pediatric liver transplant, pediatric kidney transplant and pediatric intestinal transplant patients. Through dedicated efforts in education and research, and innovations in clinical medicine, we help shape the field of transplantation every day.

What to expect

Your initial evaluation usually takes two to three days. During your visit, you'll have a full schedule of labs, diagnostic testing and consultations.

After your evaluation, our team will meet and discuss your case. If you are ready, you will be placed on a transplant waiting list. In Nebraska, we have shorter wait times than many other states.
