Financial assistance and counseling

Because of the risk posed by coronavirus (COVID-19) to our patients, staff and our community, visitors are not allowed at our 33rd and Farnam streets location or at our Health Information Management location at 10304 Crown Pointe Ave. If you require assistance with payments, you can view your options here.

Unexpected medical expenses can be a financial burden. If you think you might have difficulty paying your Nebraska Medicine bill, we can help.

Our financial counseling services are provided by a team of professional Patient Financial Counselors trained in financial counseling for medical services. The team is responsible for assisting all patients, staff and physicians with insurance, billing and financial program-related needs. Cost estimates for procedures are available upon request, and multiple financial assistance options are available.

All patients are welcome to apply for financial assistance. Download the application below, or request a copy by emailing
