Stroke / Brain Aneurysm Support Group

After a stroke, your emotional and psychological well-being is just as important as your physical well-being. Support groups can be very beneficial during this recovery time. Connecting with other survivors and caregivers is important to share experiences, information and advice.

Nebraska Medicine and Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals – Omaha Campus have teamed up to create a stroke support group called “Nebraska’s Hope for a Better Tomorrow Stroke Support Group” to provide stroke survivors and their caregivers the resources they need while adjusting to changes in their lives.

These meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month.

Online Support Groups:

At times, stroke victims and their caregivers may find themselves facing both physical and emotional barriers that may steer them away from participating in a local support group. With more and more communication happening online today, joining a support group online is possible without leaving the comfort of your home. Find an online support group here.
