Advanced Trauma Life Support® (ATLS®)
The Advanced Trauma Life Support® (ATLS®) Student Course presents a concise approach to assessing and management of multiple trauma patients. The course presents doctors and other qualified health care providers with knowledge necessary to assure that optimum care is provided and that the level of care does not deteriorate at any point during the evaluation, resuscitation, or transfer process.
ATLS 2-Day Traditional Course (cost $700)
ATLS 1-Day Refresher Course (cost $375)
Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN)
Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) is an advanced course designed for the registered nurse interested in increasing their knowledge in the management of multiple trauma patients.
The nurse participants audit the ATLS lectures. During the ATLS skill and testing stations, the nurses are separated from the physician group and directed through ATCN skill stations.
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), 8th Edition, prepares emergency nurses for life-threatening trauma cases when every second counts. The course gives you the knowledge, critical thinking skills and training needed to provide high-quality trauma nursing care.
TNCC cost $330; will increase to $350 in September
Trauma Grand Rounds
Trauma Grand Rounds provides health care providers with information on the latest advances in the care of traumatic and critically ill patients to inform their practice and improve patient care.
- Trauma Grand Rounds are held the third Friday of each month at noon, Central Standard Time
Rural Trauma Team Development Course
Rural Trauma Team Development Course (RTTDC™) has been developed to improve the quality of care in rural communities by developing a timely, organized, and systemic response to the care of the trauma patient. The course emphasizes a team approach to address common problems in the initial assessment and stabilization of the injured.
Disaster Management Emergency Preparedness (DMEP)
DMEP teaches health care professionals planning methods, preparedness, and medical management of trauma patients in mass casualty disaster situations. Through lecture and interactive scenarios, you’ll learn incident command terminology, principles of disaster triage, injury patterns, and availability of assets for support.
Stop the Bleed
Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
