Sports Medicine outreach efforts

The sports medicine team at Nebraska Medicine is committed to supporting athletes and those living active lifestyles throughout the Omaha Community. We engage with athletes and active individuals of all ages, skill levels and abilities. From youth sports to elite, national and international athletes, the sports medicine program provides access to collaborative, comprehensive and multidisciplinary sports medicine services.

National and International Events

When the city of Omaha hosts a sporting event of national or international caliber, Nebraska Medicine is the trusted provider of sports medicine services. Our multidisciplinary sports medicine program ensures that world class athletes are able to compete at their peak performance. We are proud to provide care for the athletes of major sporting organizations such as USA Swimming, USA Triathlon and US Figure Skating.

In 2017, the sports medicine team will provide medical services for some of the country’s top athletes:

  • USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships (August 12-13)
  • USA Curling- 2018 US Olympic Team Trials for Curling (November 12-19)

The team has also provided coverage for these past national and international events held in Omaha:
