A Tailored Plan

Our approach involves education, manual therapies and exercise. Our physical therapists will help you establish goals and create a personalized plan, including activities related to strengthening, range of motion, mobility and endurance. We use unique therapies and exercise approaches that may not be available through your primary doctor.

Multi-dimensional Manual Physical Therapy

Our Pain Management Program uses a form of physical therapy called multi-dimensional manual physical therapy (MMPT). Traditional physical therapy relies on clinical biomechanics that includes the physics of the musculoskeletal system (muscles, bones and joints) as well as the function of the nervous system.

However, in the treatment of chronic pain, we have found that we have better results when we include other body systems such as the nervous system, vascular systems, organs and relevant interrelated reflexes, each may play a significant role in contributing to chronic pain. As new research information in related clinical fields is acquired, this information is integrated into our strategies to provide you with the most current and up-to-date therapies and approaches.

A Team Approach

Conditions such as heart and lung problems as well as a spinal cord injury and stroke sometimes require a team to provide care and may include not only physical therapists, but occupational and speech therapists, doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists and others. Our advanced experience draws on their unique backgrounds to deliver the best possible care for you.
