How your donation is used
We have a wide array of areas that you can support. You can donate to assist our patients and staff or to support our transplant, cancer, infectious diseases, heart and vascular or neurology programs. The Nebraska Medicine Patient and Family Experience Fund provides direct support for patients whose needs exceed the resources available through other means. Our social workers are trained to help families adjust to life changes, whether they are emotional, physical, social or financial. This fund supports expenses such as gas mileage, housing and meals. It serves as the bridge to assisting families as they connect with additional community partners for support.
The Nursing Development Fund benefits nurses throughout the health system by providing resources for specialized training, advanced certification and recognition. Every day, our nurses apply their knowledge and expertise to care for patients in complex situations. They integrate into the high standards and unique work environment of the health system to provide an unparalleled patient experience. Additionally, this fund allows us to continue to recruit and retain the best nurses in Nebraska.
The Nebraska Medicine Excellence Fund supports our greatest and most urgent needs. It helps us keep our commitment to an outstanding patient experience and allows us to be nimble and opportunistic.
