Interests
Dr. Yetman is an academic cardiologist who has focused her career in the area of congenital heart disease and diseases of the aorta. She has served in leadership roles across the country creating specialized clinics for the care of patients with Marfan syndrome and other aortic diseases as well as specialized clinics for girls and women with Turner syndrome. Prior to coming to Omaha in 2014, she was the director of the Adult Congenital Cardiology clinic in Salt Lake City Utah from 2006-2013 and in Denver Colorado from 2002-2006.
Clinical Expertise:
Dr. Yetman's clinical interests include the care of adolescents with congenital heart disease, care of patients of all ages with Marfan syndrome, aortic aneurysms, bicuspid aortic valve and Turner syndrome. She has over 20 years of experience caring for patients with these disorders and sees patients from across the country with Marfan syndrome and other disorders of the aorta. She works closely with members of our cardiothoracic surgery and vascular surgery divisions to provide comprehensive care to patients with aortic disease.
Research Expertise:
Dr. Yetman was actively involved in the international trial of Atenolol versus Losartan in patients with Marfan syndrome. Her primary research interests are in aortic disease, and in women’s health.
