While varicose veins are primarily a cosmetic concern for most people, for some, they can cause pain and discomfort and may also be a symptom of a more serious vein disorder. Our comprehensive varicose vein disease clinic offers a wide variety of medical and procedural treatment options for:
- Spider veins
- Varicose veins
- Venous ulcers
- Chronic changes of the skin from vein disease
What to expect
We offer on-site ultrasound performed by a registered vascular sonographer that is reviewed in real time by your physician. This process allows for same-day consultation, education and development of a customized treatment plan for you.
Based on exam findings, your symptoms and ultrasound evaluation, we will recommend treatments. All patients with vein disease will undergo medical management, including recommendations for leg elevation, exercise, and external compression. In the event that additional interventions are required, our team can perform minimally invasive procedures in the outpatient clinic setting, under local anesthesia with minimal downtime required. Our goal is to provide a personalized treatment plan to meet your needs.

What are varicose veins?
Abnormal veins in the legs, often called "varicose" or "spider veins" result when valves within the vessels designed to help return the blood to the heart malfunction and allow backward flow of the blood.
