Schedule a lung cancer screening call

Answer the questions below to schedule a 15-minute telephone appointment with an advanced practice provider. During this appointment, the provider will confirm your eligibility and discuss the benefits and risks of preventive lung cancer screening. If you meet the criteria and choose to proceed, they will order a low-dose CT scan at a Nebraska Medicine location.

We cannot schedule an appointment if you are not a current or former smoker. Please contact your primary care provider to discuss your risk of lung cancer.

You can calculate pack-years by multiplying the number of years you have smoked by the number of packs you smoke daily. If you have smoked a pack a day for the last 20 years or two packs a day for the last 10 years, you have 20 pack-years.

We cannot schedule an appointment if you do not have a smoking history of at least 20 pack-years. Please contact your primary care provider to discuss your risk of lung cancer.
