Even though the delta variant is much more contagious than previous variants, the COVID-19 vaccines are preventing hospitalizations and death. 

In Nebraska, 95% of hospitalized COVID-19 patients are not fully vaccinated. Similarly, 93% of all COVID-19 cases in Nebraska are not fully vaccinated. 

Unvaccinated people have more than 10 times higher risk of COVID-19 death than fully vaccinated people. COVID-19 vaccines are safe, free and effective. Get vaccinated.
