For the first time, Nebraska Medicine earns a spot on Becker’s best places to work in health care.

Among the thousands of hospitals in the country, Becker’s Hospital Review listed Nebraska Medicine as one of the Top 150 places to work in health care. It did so after its internal research and soliciting nominations. Becker’s also researched the organization’s impact on their community, which was also cited by the Lown Institute in giving Nebraska Medicine top honors.

“It’s really an honor to be included on this list,” says CEO James Linder, MD. “And it happened because of the 10,000 colleagues who work for Nebraska Medicine. It’s a recognition of our culture of Teamwork and the care our team provides each day and night for our patients. Thank you for making this possible.”

The health care organizations that made the list prioritize competitive compensation packages, work to provide opportunities for professional development and flexibility, and promote an inclusive work environment.
